 Vinnie was imported from Ian Christie's Squareclose Kennel in Fife, Scotland in October of 2004. He is a strikingly handsome black & white dog with tremendous style and energy to burn.Vinnie shows lots of promise as a field trial competitor and a working gun dog. He is very loving (when he slows down) and behaves nicely during his daily visits in the house. In the field he is extremely birdy and marks retrieves with precision. He produces birds well during hunting season and earned his AKC Junior and Senior Hunter titles in the minimum of four hunt tests each. He also placed 1st in the spring 2007 Shooting Dog Stake at the Calgary, Alberta and Eastern Slopes, Alberta field trials and has two open all-age placements Vinnie has become an excellent addition to our kennel and we look forward to truly great things from him. We plan a repeat breeding of Vinnie to Squareclose Ria in March of 2008. |
