Vinnie was imported from Ian Christie's Squareclose Kennel in Fife, Scotland in October of 2004 at the age of four months. He is a strikingly handsome black & white dog with tremendous style and energy to burn.

Vinnie is very affectionate and behaves nicely during his frequent visits in the house. In the field he covers his ground quickly, is extremely birdy, has an exceptional nose, and marks retrieves with precision. He produces birds well during hunting season and earned his AKC Junior and Senior Hunter titles in the minimum of four hunt tests each. Vinnie began his field trial career in the fall of 2007 and has earned Open All-Age points in both the U.S. and Canada, qualifying for the 2007 U.S. National Open Championship and the 2008 and 2009 Canadian National Spaniel Championships.

Vinnie is an excellent addition to our kennel and we look forward to truly great things from him (and his puppies) on the trail circuit over the next few years. We are tentatively planning a repeat breeding of Vinnie to Squareclose Ria in the spring of 2010.
